Claim-Qualification Notes
Harry’s Room separates what is visible on an object from what is stated in a collection caption or research post.
Claim-status vocabulary
- inscription-supported: key wording is visible on the physical artifact.
- source-supported: the image and supplied collection description support the normalized record without a major unresolved conflict.
- document-supported: a letter, credential or other document directly supports the record.
- mixed-source: part of the record is visible and part comes from the supplied caption.
- collection-attributed: the collection identifies the object, rider, event or relationship; independent authentication was not supplied.
- visual-comparison-attribution: identification is based on comparison with footage or photographs.
- attributed-unresolved: the source preserves active questions, approximate dates or recollections that should not be converted into verified findings.
Signatures
The Jeremy McGrath signatures on 26.0038 and the signatures associated with 26.0051 are preserved as collection attributions. This release does not claim independent signature authentication.
Source images
Social-post screenshots and collection-page captures are evidence of publication and curatorial context. Visible engagement counts are capture-time interface data and are not treated as permanent collection facts.
No invented completion
Where the source is incomplete, Harry’s Room records the gap. It does not invent missing dates, production counts, provenance transfers, event outcomes or direct images.
