Canonical page transcription

Located in Etobicoke, Ontario, the Centennial Park Pan Am BMX Centre is one of Canada’s most significant modern BMX racing facilities. Constructed between 2013 and 2015 for the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games, the CA$4.4 million venue was built to meet Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) standards, representing a major step forward for Canadian Supercross-era BMX infrastructure.

The facility features a permanent dual-ramp starting hill system, including an 8-metre professional start hill and a 5-metre amateur ramp designed to support riders across multiple skill levels. Equipped with modern pneumatic starting gates, the approximately 350-metre track includes rhythm sections, large jump features, and asphalt berms designed to replicate the technical demands of international BMX competition.

Maintained by the City of Toronto and accessible to both recreational and competitive riders, the track functions as both a community BMX facility and a high-performance training venue. Since opening, Centennial Park has hosted major events including BMX Canada Cup competition and the 2019 Canadian National BMX Championships.

Today, the facility remains an important part of Canada’s Olympic-era BMX development system, helping provide riders with access to modern Supercross-style training and competition infrastructure.
