The original exported text is preserved as the source value. A human-readable derivative repairs only demonstrable encoding corruption.
Normalization may repair malformed apostrophes, quotation marks, dashes, ellipses, copyright marks and similar Unicode sequences. It does not correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, names, dates, URLs or factual claims.
Every changed field remains traceable through data/encoding-repairs.csv.
