47. Dottie is an angel! Both Linda and Kyle have become good friends with her. But, she was originally a very good friend to BMX legend Harry Leary. Linda calls Dottie “a very special friend of Harry’s.” They owned the Cutting Edge track together. They even tried dating but that didn’t work out. Doesn’t matter - the two maintained an amazing bond that has survived posthumously and remained best friends, always there for each other.

Kyle shares that Dottie sent him a nice letter and DIRTWERX decals that she had left over from that era - after she learned that Kyle was ‘restoring’ one of Harry’s old bikes. It is also mentioned that Mike Miller speaks the world of Dottie and Linda responds similarly but with the added bonus of learning that Mike was the announcer and Linda was the, the, the - Snackbar Lady!

We invite you to listen to our recent conversation about BMX legend Harry Leary with one of his sisters, Linda Leary Taylor, while walking over the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
