If Lititz  or Warwick Township built a pump track, I think it would thrive — the ingredients for a really successful one are already there.

Lititz has this mix of outdoor‑loving families, cyclists, and a community that shows up for its parks. That alone gives a pump track a strong base. And because the town already leans into recreation — from the Warwick‑to‑Ephrata rail trail to the way people use the park system — a pump track would slot right into that culture.

The other thing working in Lititz’ or Warwick Township's favor is how compact pump tracks are. They don’t need a huge footprint, but they create a ton of activity. Kids, teens, adults, BMX riders, mountain bikers, scooter riders — they all end up sharing the same loop. In a place like Lititz, that kind of multigenerational energy tends to catch on fast.

The only real challenge would be the site conditions. Lancaster County soils and groundwater can be quirky, so the track would need good drainage planning to stay in great shape. But if the build is done thoughtfully, the community response would almost certainly be enthusiastic.
