What happens when a rare piece of BMX history finally finds its way home?

In this special Lititz BMX unboxing, Kyle Huffman opens a package from Justin Dumas of Livermore Boss BMX containing an extraordinary artifact connected to BMX legend Harry Leary and the DIRTWERX project.

Inside the box is a 20-inch DIRTWERX frame marked "PR12"—a prototype built during the development of the Harry Leary DIRTWERX program. Designed with involvement from Livermore Boss BMX, the frame represents a unique chapter in the ongoing story of Harry Leary's influence on BMX design and innovation.

What makes this discovery especially significant is that Lititz BMX already houses a 24-inch DIRTWERX prototype. With the addition of this newly acquired 20-inch PR12 frame, the collection now preserves both known prototype platforms from the project, helping tell a more complete story of the evolution of these rare machines.

A special thank you goes to Justin Dumas for preserving this piece of BMX history and making it available for the collection.

As research continues, additional details about the frame's development, production history, and relationship to the broader DIRTWERX project will be documented and shared with the BMX community.
