42. Harry Leary, BMX legend, is described by his sister as “a very loving person.” Unfortunately, like every other truthful human - he had his demons. Those demons got worse as his CTE progressed.

CTE stands for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy is it is a progressive degenerative brain disease caused by repeated head injuries - such as concussions. It leads to the death of nerve cells in the brain and is characterized by a buildup of tau protein, which is different that found in Alzheimer's disease.
