Description snapshot

13. It took about 6 months to get the Harry Leary’s stolen loaner Daylight BMX back. There were jurisdiction issues. Rob Porter helped because the guy who was selling the bike lived near him. After multiple purchase attempts, the bike was finally recovered after the thief finally agreed to meet. The bike was returned to Daylight BMX and one of Richard’s daughters is now riding it. It still has the magic mushroom decals on it.

Every artifact tells a story. Every rider leaves a legacy. Every piece of BMX history deserves to be preserved. Each recording helps preserve BMX history by documenting the people, artifacts, and stories that might otherwise be lost to time.
