Canonical page transcription

Founded in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1997 by freestyle BMX rider Jay Miron, Ten Pack Distribution became one of the most influential BMX distribution companies in Canadian freestyle history. The company was created to improve Canadian access to aftermarket BMX products at a time when riders and bike shops often faced limited availability, high shipping costs, and cross-border import challenges.

Ten Pack distributed major international BMX brands throughout Canada while also helping launch Miron’s rider-owned company, MacNeil Bikes, in 2000. Beyond product distribution, the company became closely connected to the growth of Canadian freestyle BMX culture through team projects, rider support, video production, and event promotion.

The company gained additional recognition through projects such as the 2004 Evolution DVD and involvement with the Metro Jam contest series, both of which helped increase international exposure for Canadian riders including Dave Osato and other emerging freestyle talent during the 2000s.

Although Miron sold the company in 2010 to longtime business partners Jamie McIntosh and Darcy Saccucci, Ten Pack remained an important part of Canadian BMX infrastructure before later narrowing its focus primarily toward MacNeil-related operations. Its legacy remains strongly tied to the growth of rider-driven freestyle BMX culture, media, and distribution within Canada.
