Located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Chilliwack BMX has become one of the most important seasonal racing hubs within Canadian BMX competition. While the local BMX scene remains active throughout the region, the facility is most closely associated with Chilliwack Heritage Park—commonly known within BMX circles as the “Red Barn”—which has served as a major venue for BMX Canada national competition for more than a decade.
Due to Canada’s climate and limited winter racing opportunities, the indoor Heritage Park facility plays an important role within the national BMX calendar. Each spring and fall, a temporary indoor dirt track is constructed inside the arena to host major BMX Canada events including the Fraser Valley Nationals and BMX Canada Grand Nationals. These events regularly attract riders from across Canada and the United States competing in amateur, expert, and professional classes.
Operating under BMX Canada sanctioning, the venue supports riders ranging from young beginners to elite Superclass professionals. Chilliwack’s combination of indoor racing infrastructure, national event hosting, and seasonal accessibility has helped establish the facility as one of Canada’s most recognizable BMX competition venues.
