The Original Painting: Some people know what this means to me. I wasn’t there but, it does complete a circle.
The artist, Damian Fulton, was my first podcast guest. He has been a great supporter and has become a friend. I have wanted an original of his for a long time.
Why the connection of a loop? Well, Harry Leary’s celebration of life was held at Dirtyfest 3. The Leary family has come to mean a lot to me.
Harry’s Mom and sisters shared the poster and captured the memories that were displayed at the memorial with me in a podcast. Here is a link to the recording: https://youtu.be/92rxPCGK6Pg?si=aaKSL4b4ym4LYlva
The fact that this original was available was a miracle in the first place. The goal is to eventually make it available for viewing as part of the museum’s collection.
