What each record preserves

Every source record has its own stable FB-... archive ID and public Markdown page. Depending on what Facebook exported, the record may include:

Attribution and factual status

This archive preserves Facebook activity as a historical source. It records that text, images, claims or links appeared within the exported activity. It does not automatically establish that every underlying statement is independently verified. Kyle Huffman/Lititz BMX wording, shared-source wording, attributed quotations, Facebook-generated context and unresolved authorship remain distinguished wherever the export supports that distinction.

Original and repaired text

The exact exported wording remains preserved. A second human-readable field repairs demonstrable character-encoding damage such as malformed apostrophes and quotation marks. Normalization does not silently rewrite grammar, dates, names or historical claims.

Images

All 2,961 received still-image instances were matched to the export, decoded and hashed. The public repository uses 1,495 checksum-deduplicated visual-access derivatives with EXIF metadata removed and the longest edge limited to 1,200 pixels. Original-resolution binaries and their fixity remain preserved in the private accession. No image is omitted merely because it accompanied a shared post.
