Hi Team Lititz/Warwick Township Pump Track!

I wanted to share with you a little more about our meeting with the Board of Supervisors. We, Mark Stancliff and I, were able to present to the board, who seemed engaged, asked positively inquisitive questions, and provided encouragement to move this process along further.

I personally want to thank the Supervisors for their time and enthusiasm we saw this evening. The Township Manager, Brian Harris, seemed to be very familiar with the pump track concept and eagerly asked us to reach out to him personally and handing us business cards later.

Side note: The township is currently working with Lititz Bikeworks to replace the bike share bikes. We floated the idea of a partnership with Huffy - 3 of 10 equals the Hall of Fame.

If you are interested in my speech to the Supervisors, I am sharing it below. Thank you everyone who provided support - And remember your Day One… This all started out as a way for me to rent bikes to Rock Stars at Rock Lititz and it has blossomed into something that I never could have imagined.

Good evening Supervisors, and thank you for the opportunity to speak with you tonight. My name is Kyle Huffman. I’ve been a proud member of this community for over ten years. I am a twice‑deployed, honorably discharged veteran, and before retiring I founded the Veterans Employee Resource Group at Fulton Bank while working as an Instructional Designer. I’m also a lifelong BMX enthusiast and a bit of a history buff. But more than anything, I’m a father to a two‑year‑old daughter whose future in this community motivates me deeply.

With me tonight is Mark Stancliff, a former national‑level BMX rider. We’re here together because we believe Warwick Township has an opportunity to create something meaningful, healthy, and lasting for residents of all ages: a multi‑sport pump track.

I hope we have a few supporters in the room this evening.

So, what exactly is a pump track?

A pump track is a looping circuit of rollers and banked turns designed for bikes, skateboards, scooters, roller skates—really anything with wheels. It’s low‑impact, safe, and accessible for all ages and skill levels.

The benefits are clear:

It strengthens youth engagement

It provides family‑friendly recreation

It is naturally inclusive

And it becomes a source of community pride

Some of you may remember the old Lititz BMX track. For those nodding along, the spirit of that space doesn’t have to be a memory. A modern pump track brings that same energy back—updated, safer, and open to far more types of riders.

Pump tracks are also surprisingly affordable, and we are not asking Warwick Township to shoulder the entire burden. We are committed to working with you to identify grants, partnerships, and community‑driven funding opportunities.

Our call-to-action tonight is simple:

We respectfully ask the Board to consider forming a working group or initiating a feasibility study to explore potential locations, design options, and funding pathways for a Warwick Township pump track.

This is about creating a safe, inclusive, and exciting space for all wheel‑based sports. It’s about giving our youth a place to grow, our families a place to connect, and our township another reason to “ride and shine.”

As a Veteran, I understand the importance of support, community, and resilience.

As athletes, we understand the power of sports to inspire and unite.

Together, we believe a pump track can embody both.

We respectfully ask for your support in taking the first step toward making this vision a reality for Warwick Township. Thank you.
