A friend of the museum, BMX Hall of Famer @[100000720872312:2048:Debbi Kalsow-Nickolson], is looking for a little help from the community.

Their story:

My name is Debbi. My husband, Michael, and I are raising funds for our son, Charles Edwards. Several years ago, Charles was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma. Burkitt lymphoma is a rare, highly aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that starts in B-cell white blood cells. It is one of the fastest-growing human cancers, but it is also highly curable with prompt, intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Charles endured four months of chemo, during which he stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks out of every month, and by God's grace, he has been in remission for the past couple of years.

Recently, he has been experiencing severe digestive issues, and lumps have appeared in many lymph nodes. After meeting with his new PCP, it was decided that he needs numerous tests. Charles has a new job with new insurance and a very high deductible. This is stopping him from getting treatment, as the cost of living and insurance is through the roof. Time is of the essence. We are looking for a little help to get him on his way to finding out if the cancer has returned.
