45. Kyle A. Huffman kind of understands Harry and what Linda went through - at the age of 39, Kyle was diagnosed with BiPolar 1 (severe) by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Kyle’s world was turned upside down - he is seven years past that and still barely getting past it. It isn’t easy and his heart goes out to those affected by it.

After sharing his brief story, Linda Leary Taylor - CTE Advocate & sister of BMX Hall of Fame legend Harry Leary, responds with an understanding that unless you are diagnosed, you don’t know what the problem is. You automatically think something is wrong with you. Many turn to drugs or alcohol. Mental health and damage problems are illnesses that bring on other bad behaviour - Linda thinks many in the BMX community never saw past that.

Linda believes that the BMX community looked at Harry Leary as a star, a BMX legend, and he had a certain protocol he was supposed to follow. When he fell off of what people felt he should be, it didn't look good - but they never delved into whether or not Harry had this CTE problem. 

   Maybe there is something wrong?

   Maybe there is more to Harry Leary than what everyone thinks there is.
