How Adaptive Devices Can Use a Pump Track
Adaptive riders can absolutely use a pump track when the track is built with accessibility and smooth rolling surfaces in mind. Modern modular pump‑track companies explicitly design their tracks for wheelchairs and other adaptive mobility devices, not just bikes and boards.

♿ Smooth, Continuous Surfaces Make It Possible
Modular pump‑track systems are built with high‑grip, smooth fiberglass or concrete surfaces, which allow wheelchairs and adaptive devices to roll without getting caught on seams or rough transitions. Parkitect, for example, lists wheelchairs alongside bikes, scooters, skateboards, and roller skates as intended users.

♿ Wider, Lower Berms and Rollers
Some modular tracks are built wider and lower, with rounded edges and predictable transitions. This helps adaptive riders maintain stability and reduces the risk of tipping on steeper features.
